When properties change hands, the town’s face also changes.

Long-time landmarks such as Sneddons, Finkles, and Full Moon recently became memories. Soon, parts of Lambertville may have a whole new look and feel.

Here are some commercial properties that are currently for sale.

6-8 North Union Street

The Broadmoor (business) is for sale. It has a clothing shop on one side, and an art gallery on the other. Upstairs are work studios for artists.

Will someone buy the restaurant and keep it exactly as it is? Only time will tell.

Price: $325,000

24 North Main Street

This brick house was home to a graphic design firm, and then a financial planner.

a brick house on Main street

It’s located on Main Street, which gives it high visibility. The back yard is gorgeous, and could park a car. It might be a deal if you turn it into a residence.

Price: $550,000

15 North Union Street

This shop, which used to be a record store, has been empty for some time. On one side is a vacant art gallery. On the other side is an active barber shop.

Visible with lots of foot traffic, this could potentially be an owner-occupied space, but it would require lots of work since it has no proper living space.

Price: $649,000

51 North Union Street

Set back from the street behind a wrought iron fence, this unassuming multi-unit property is located in the heart of the central business district. It has an active coffee shop on one side, and a professional office space on the other.

a slightly dilapidated old house with two doors on the front

Will the buyer tear it down and replace it with mixed use, or keep it as is?

Price: $669,000

12 North Main Street

This old firehouse has been on the market for a year. It currently operates as an AirBnB, and Gotta Have It Vinyl is located in the retail space on the first floor.

It’s a funky place if you don’t mind stairs. It might even have a parking spot. However, it’s on a noisy street, lacks foot traffic, and is next to a gas station.

It was originally listed at $995,000 but the price has been lowered twice.

Price: $850,000

99 South Main Street

This building houses one of two well-used laundromats in town. The other laundromat got renovated after a fire, making this the older one.

There is a small apartment on the west side of the building. The retail space was a bike shop, then a furniture store. It is now vacant and for lease at $3,400.

a long low building with a laudromat in the center

This street-to-street end unit has good visibility from Route 29. There is a small parking lot, which could suite a business where customers come and go quickly.

It’s been on the market for about a year. It’s possible that investors and/or developers could convert this whole property into something else entirely.

Price: $1,350,000

47 Bridge Street

This building was sold in 2023 for $1,700,000. Then it got renovated.

a classic old three-story building with tall windows and fancy adornments

Liv and Charlie’s is on the first floor, and apartments fill the upper floors.

Price: $2,125,000

71 North Main Street

This was once Holcombe Hall, a theater building that hosted traveling minstrels and operas. The first floor housed W.F. Finger & Co., who sold a variety of goods.

a tall, dramatic building with an overhanging roof

Now the first floor houses a branding business. Several years ago the upper floors were converted into chic, loft-like apartments. It has a small parking lot, high visibility, and a price tag that means the units cost over $450,000 each.

Price: $3,300,000

33-37 Bridge Street

Wells Fargo recently closed their Lambertville branch, taking their conveniently-located ATM with them. Thanks a lot, Wells Fargo!

a prominent bank building with tall columns and a drive through

The property is deeded such that no other financial institution can use this space despite the fact that it’s a bank building with a drive-through and a vault.

Note that the entire block is for sale. If investors buy this, they get the parking lot too, which means downtown could look very different in the near future.
